Public transportation in Toronto dates back to 1849 with the creation of a horse-drawn stagecoach company. I’m looking for an original pic or two about the construction of the ride The Alpine Way in 1965 when building it at the C.N.E.
I remember the old electric buses and how many times they jumped the line and the driver would use the grounded pole to place it back in the overhead wire!
Does anyone remember the old shuttle bus that ran between Eatons at Yonge & Queen to the College Street store?
