As a child, I loved the big clown on the Dees sign. Without whining and begging, we couldn’t drive past, resulting in a smack upside the head. Does anyone remember the children’s coin-operated “Ferris wheel” near the gum machines at the grocery store down the hill from the historic Granite district in Sandy?
