There used to be beautiful architecture, towers, and spires on Broad Street. It’s now Checker’s and Pep Boys.
The great architecture is still there.
Show me where it is at Broad and Spring Garden/ Girard/ Susquehanna. Then compare the photos with historical ones.
Have you ever walked down Green Street from there to the Art Museum??
What does that have to do with North Broad Street?
There is no doubt that Broad/SG and Broad/Girard intersections are bad. In my opinion, Broad/Girard is the worst intersection in the city. There are still the Divine Lorraine, Rodeph Shalom, the Met, the Mulford Building, and PCA headquarters at Broad/Wallace today…along with Pepboys and the shitty gas station.
Someone’s hitting 88 mph getting blurry.
I can’t believe there’s a McDonald’s in that building now
McD’s has been closed. Currently, it is under construction, but it is not clear what it will be.
Is it really? I know it was under construction around new years, but I don’t go downtown very often
Yes, it does not appear on Google anymore, and all the signage has disappeared
I don’t understand. Isn’t this on south broad at the arch? Not facing north, but east?
Looking towards Vine Street.
I love the church on that corner.
