Fascinating Historical Photos Show Life In 1940s Stockholm

These fascinating pictures show everyday life in 1940s Stockholm. Swedish photographer, Karl Werner Edmund captured these photographs during his trip to Sweden. He was the first Swedish photojournalist to have a solo exhibition in Sweden.

Edmund established his own studio which he operated for over forty years. He contributed thousands of historical photos and articles to a series of Swedish and foreign journals. These amazing historical photos will take you back to the 1940s Stockholm.
