Melania Trump, the wife of 45th U.S. President Donald Trump was born in Slovenia in 1970. She was born and raised in the small town of Sevnica, she always had an interest in fashion and glamour. Melania began her modeling career at the age of five and started doing commercial work at sixteen. When she began working as a model, she adapted the Slovene version of her last name “Knavs” to the German version “Knauss”. She photographed several famous glamour and fashion magazines such as Jana Magazine, Max, and GQ magazine.
At the age of sixteen, Melania was approached by a Slovenian photographer, who photographed her. The next fall, Melania took a modeling course and posed for fashion magazines.
