John Travolta is an Oscar award-winning actor, singer and dancer. He quit school at 16 and to pursue his passion and got his first professional role in a summer stock production of the musical “Bye Bye Birdie”. Travolta made his screen debut with “The Devil’s Rain” in 1975. And after two years he rose to fame for his role in the blockbuster “Saturday Night Fever (1977)”. In 1976 John Travolta released the superhit song “Let Her In” which spent five months on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 10. He starred in the most commercially successful movies throughout the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Travolta had appeared four times on the cover of “Rolling Stone” magazine and “named Man of the Year” by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Club in 1981.

Travolta fell in love with actress Diana Hyland during the filming of “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble”, and they remained together until her death from breast cancer. In 1991, he married actress Kelly Preston, and the couple had three children. Travolta is also a private pilot; he owns four aircraft and holds 11 jet licenses.
