Al Pacino is an award-winning actor and filmmaker whose career span over five decades. During his career, he portrayed serious, thoughtful, rage and gritty roles. He rose to fame with the role of Michael Corleone in “The Godfather (1972)” and drug lord Tony Montana in “Scarface (1983)”. Before his acting career, he worked in the mailroom of Commentary magazine. Al Pacino started his acting career with small supporting roles; he made his screen debut with Looking for Richard (1996). Throughout the 1970s, 1980s and 1900s Pacino starred in some of the super hit movies.

Pacino has been nominated and has won many awards during his career. He has been nominated for both a Supporting and Lead Acting Academy Award in the same year.
Al Pacino was a heavy smoker; in the mid-1980s, he had been smoking four packs of cigarettes a day, and now he only occasionally smokes herbal cigarettes. He was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon in 1961. Al Pacino has never married and has fathered three children. He had a relationship with several actresses including Diane Keaton, Tuesday Weld, Jill Clayburgh, Marthe Keller, and many others.
