A long stretch of white sand and turquoise blue water attracts many swimmers, surfers, and snorkelers to the Waikiki. Several high-rises, high-end restaurants, and resorts line the borders of this popular destination. There are plenty of activities and events for all ages in Waikiki, from Hilton Hawaiian Village on the west to Kapi’olani Park on the east.
There are world-class hotels like Hilton, Sheraton, and Hyatt, as well as smaller operations that still provide plenty of alohas. Waikiki is also home to Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head Crater. The Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo, and International Marketplace (a shopper’s paradise in Waikiki) are all nearby.
