These vintage Palmolive ads are not only sexist, but they are also unbelievably offensive. The first thing a woman should do is ask herself if her husband shuts her out. She can blame herself if her husband feels ashamed of her because of her dry, lifeless “middle-age” skin.

Regardless of what soap you use, everyone who grows old will have that middle-age skin. It’s sad if people think it’s the key to a lasting marriage.
