50+ Weird Vintage Ads Praising And Motivating Young Men Who Read Playboy

Playboy magazine started a campaign in 1958 to praise the readers and motivated them to confess openly that they enjoy the magazine, and it is not taboo. This campaign was intended to target ad agencies, mainstream media, offices, newspapers, and magazines, who did not allow the company to promote its products in the newspaper or magazine. The campaign ran from 1958 to 1979 with a question asking the readers; “What kind of man reads Playboy?” and “What sort of men reads playboy” and in answer, the readers were all young, handsome, adventurous, athletic, and intelligent men, always surrounded and admired by beautiful ladies. Here below are some adverts from these campaigns, starting from the beginning to the end. The fashion and style changed over the years, but the motto remained the same.
