Childhood and professional career
Weld was not blessed with a beautiful childhood and adulthood. Her father died during her childhood, and she took over the role of the family breadwinner. They put it in the CBS TV series’ ‘Dobie Gillis’s Many Loves, ‘ which was paid $35 thousand for a year. She was also a co-winner of the “Most Promised Newcomer’s Award” in the Golden Globe Awards for the famous CBS sitcom ‘Thalia Menninger.’ Weld worked in many favorite films and TV shows during the 1960s and has won several nominations. Weld has been married three times. She was married to screenwriter Claude Harz from 1965 until their divorce in 1971. They had a daughter, Natasha, in 1966. In 1975, she married British actor, musician, and comedian Dudley Moore 1975. The couple divorced four years later, and they had a son. Weld married Israeli concert violinist and conductor Pinchas Zukerman. The marriage lasted only three years and ended with a divorce. Weld also dated Elvis Presley, Al Pacino, David Steinberg, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Richard Gere, and many more.
