Tottenham is a beautiful town in North London. The Area became a working-class suburb of London in the late-19th century following the advent of the railway and mass development of housing for the lower-middle and working classes. Tottenham is one of the most ethnically diverse areas in Britain.
Photographer Peter Marshall took photographs of street scenes and the everyday life of Tottenham in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He also documented Camden, Deptford Hull, Shoreditch, and The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea during the 1980s and 1990s.
