Drugs, Nudes, Letters, And Weird Things: Vinyl Collector Reveals Secret Stuff That People Hide Inside Vinyl Sleeves

We all have personal or secret stuff that we want to hide from others. It can be money, personal dairy, documents, chocolate, and many more. We stash this stuff in our secret places, and there is nothing wrong with a bit of extra protection. However, things go wrong when we forget to take out the secret stuff, and it goes into someone’s hand. Jeff Ogiba is a record collector from Brooklyn, and he busts secret stuff that people hid inside the record covers. As a record dealer, Jeff has to inspect and clean the record before reselling. And sometimes he leaves the secret stuff inside the records so that the customers can have a little bonus. #15 Robert Silva gets a D+ for ATTITUDE in Algebra and apparently never gets his parents’ signature but instead stashes his report card inside this Michael Schenker Group LP.

#16 Discovered this copy of ‘Ocean’ by Kraut prog rockers, Eloy in Turkey. This particular copy is covered inside and out (swipe to reveal inner sleeve) with creepy clippings of old famous Turkish actresses, singers, and wives of businessmen.

#17 The Day The Music Died: photos from the infamous plane crash with descriptions typed and taped to back found inside a mailing envelope in a Buddy Holly x6 LP box set

#18 Dead tarantula stuck to a MAD Magazine flexi, inside a copy of ‘All Things Must Pass’ by George Harrison. Came from a home that was full of taxidermy and weirdness.

#20 A very heartfelt letter to “Heather” from her dad in 1990. Sounds like she was going through some tough times and Dad came to the rescue with a a very sweet message and a copy of ‘Boomerang’ by The Creatures.
