Some celebrities break the stereotypes and start a long term committed relationship, and Sam Elliot and Katharine Ross are one of them. They have been married since 1984 and they have a beautiful daughter, Cleo Rose. Elliot and Rose met in 1978 during the making of the movie ‘The Legacy’ in London. The two apparently saw a lot more of each other while making Legacy, Ross was attracted to Elliot’s baritone voice, mustache and distinctive looks. Ross was on her fourth husband and Elliott had never been married. Ross divorced her fourth husband, Lisa, after meeting Elliott t, and the couple married in 1984.

Sam Elliott is known for his distinctive lanky physique, mustache, and resonant voice. His role in the movies ‘Lifeguard’ and ‘A Star is Born’ made him one of the famous actors of his time. Katherine Ross is best known for her iconic roles as Elaine Robinson in ‘The Graduate (1967)’, Tish Buckman in ‘Hell fighters (1968)’ and Etta Place in ‘ Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)’. Ross had accomplished so much so quickly that it seemed her entire career had happened almost all at once, in that frenzy of activity between 1967 and 1969.
