Pie Town is an unincorporated community located along U.S. Highway 60 in Catron County. The history of Pie Town dates back to the 1920s when Clyde Norman established the town. The town is also famous for the “Pie Festival” which is celebrated every year. The festival includes a pie-baking contest, games and races, music, food, and arts and crafts. The area of Pie Town is rich in relics of the Native Americans. Their ruins of Native American communities, which consist of few structures, also exist in the place. The delicious pies of this town attract thousands of tourists annually.

Thanks for sharing! What a unique little place
I went through Pie Town about 5 years ago when I read its name on a map. Since then, I’ve been looking for land somewhere in west central New Mexico and planning to move from the Midwest. Since then, I’ve been back every year!
