Miss Kellogg was a student at Cornell University from 1921 to 1926. The photographs below show Miss Ruth Kellogg demonstrating the correct posture for various housework tasks. They appeared in Delineator magazine, a New York-based women’s magazine founded in 1869 as The Metropolitan Monthly by Butterick Publishing Company. The magazine regularly provided household tips. Miss Kellogg offered readers tips on cleaning window panes in 1925.
