Early LP Records: 50+ Vinyl Album Covers From the 1950s

Columbia Records introduced the LP (long playing) records in 1948. The entire record industry soon adopted this invention, and it has remained the standard for vinyl albums. The first LP records were not perfect; they were not uniform and often had dull sound and pre-echo, which occurred when parts of music made a faint untimely appearance ahead of the beat. Philco also introduced record machines with multiple playing speeds for LP records. Despite all these problems, people showed interest in LPs because people wanted to hear uninterrupted music on fewer discs, which gave them more music for less money and allowed for easier storage and portability. Have a look at these fantastic LP covers from the 1950s. Let us know if you have any of these albums in the comments, and vote your favorites.
