Lauren Bacall made her debut in Hollywood at the age of 20, with “To Have and Have Not” in 1944 and worked in sixteen movies in 15 years. After the death of her husband from throat cancer, Lauren returned to the big screen with “Shock Treatment” in 1964.
Bacall had a relationship with Frank Sinatra after Bogart’s death; however, Sinatra ended the relationship after becoming upset that his marriage proposal had been leaked to the press, believing Bacall to be responsible. Bacall then met and began a relationship with Jason Robards and married to him on July 4, 1961, at Ensenada, Mexico.
