Raffaella Carrà is an Italian singer, dancer, actress, showgirl, and TV presenter. Raffaella also won “European female television personality,” awarded by the European TV Magazines Association. She debuted in cinema at age nine and worked in five movies when she graduated from the national film school of Italy. She acted in a dozen films between 1960 and 1970, including 1965’s Von Ryan’s Express with Frank Sinatra. She had a 20-year relationship with director and writer Sergio Japino.
