Rare Historical Photos Show Firefighters Working in Extremely Cold Weather

Winter brings an Exceptional set of Dangers and challenges for firefighters Which range from mild annoyance to extreme threat, especially when the temperature drops below an extreme level where equipment, vehicles, and the human body can’t work properly. Everything goes slower in extreme cold. The hydrants are usually buried beneath the snowdrifts.

Firefighters normally need protection against both cold and heat in the Same episode. They are subjected to the cold whilst responding and setup, then they might experience intense warmth when combating the fire. Adding layers of clothes to provide Additional insulation in the cold Adds bulk and weight, restricting activity, and requires extra physical effort to carry out easy tasks.
