Corona is a beautiful neighborhood in the borough of Queens in New York City. It has a multicultural population including African American, Italian American, German, Irish and Chinese population. It was founded in 1854 and named after Crown Building Company. The area was originally known as West Flushing. Numerous famous personalities, including musicians, athletes, and activists were born and raised in this neighborhood.
