Coca-Cola was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton as a patent medicine. Just after its invention, a businessman, Asa Griggs Candler, bought Coca-Cola and turned it into the world’s famous soft drink of the 20th century. The current formula of Coca-Cola remains a trade secret, although a variety of reported recipes and experimental recreations have been published. The Coca-Cola Company has always believed in advertising, and that belief has taken it to the top of the mountain. Fantastic, colorful, wholesome, and memory-provoking are just a few of the words and phrases that can be used to describe Coca-Cola advertising. Here is a collection of 50 Coca-Cola ads from 1889 till the present day.
