  1. That’s what happens when you piss off the rest of the mafia commission. He was not the boss, Rusty Rastelli was the recognized Boss of the Bonnano family. Galante was also allegedly overheard to say that he would make Carlo Gambino suck his dick in the middle of Times Square.
    Gambino died of natural causes in 1976, so while he lived longer he also died violently.
