Life in Berlin in 1970 Through the Lens of Heinrich Klaffs

Heinrich Klaffs took these photographs of Berlin in 1970. Berlin at that time was still isolated by the Cold War and divided by the wall. Looking back now, it was almost like a city from a different planet. He began taking pictures in 1970. He worked as a freelance photographer for a daily newspaper from 1972 to 1974, then became an editor until 2010.
