Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the pop art movement of the 1960s. Brigid Berlin was a close friend and collaborator of Warhol, and the two were often seen together at Warhol’s studio, known as The Factory. In December 1985, a photograph of Warhol holding Brigid’s pug dog at The Factory was taken. The image captures Warhol’s iconic style and artistic spirit, as well as the eccentric personalities surrounding him. It is considered an iconic moment in Warhol’s career and is a testament to his enduring legacy in the art world.
Mark Greenberg took these photographs.
