Pamela Sue Martin is an actress and former fashion model. After graduating from high school, she started her career as a fashion model at the age of seventeen. She appeared in several TV commercials and print advertisements. She also appeared on several magazine covers including, ‘US Magazine’, TV Guide’, ‘Ingenue’, Dawn Magazine’, and many more. After two years of struggle, Martin eventually landed small and big screen offers.
Acting career
She made her film debut in 1972 with the role of ‘Susan Shelby’ in the movie ‘The Poseidon Adventure’. That year, she also had a role in a comedy-drama film ‘To Find a Man’. She also portrayed the role of ‘Nancy Drew’ in ABC’s series ‘The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries’ in 1977. After the success of the TV series, Martin made her appearance in the romantic drama movie ‘The Lady in Red’. She appeared in many movies and TV series throughout the 80s and 90s. She has also directed several theatre productions in recent years.

Pamela Sue Martin has been married four times. She married her first husband Charles Gates in 1975 and got divorced in 1979. After the divorce she married her second husband, Jorge Brusch in 1979, the marriage lasted only for two years. In 1987, she married Manuel Rojas and the marriage was ended after five years. From 1990 to 1998, Martin was married to her fourth husband, Bruce Allen, with whom she has a son.

She is now living in Idaho with her son. She is also writing her memoir ‘The Spirit of the Matter’. Martin is involved with several environmental groups, including Greenpeace and The Sierra Club. She is also the National Spokesperson for the Wild Horse Sanctuary.
