Fascinating Vintage Photos Show Life of Poland in 1970

These fascinating photos show street scenes, landmarks, and everyday life in Poland in 1970. It was the time when polish people were protesting against the sudden increase in prices of food and other everyday items. Gomułka’s government signed a treaty with West Germany that involved a recognition of the Oder-Neisse border.

These photographs were taken by French Photographer Philippe Guillot during his trip to Poland.
