Stunning Photos Of American Children Enjoying Their Holidays In Summer Camps From between 1986 and 1997

Mark Steinmetz is a talented photographer, he started photography at the age of six. Steinmetz captures black and white photographs of landscapes, everyday life, and portraits of people. “Black and white are what I was looking at when I started to photograph and it’s the medium of the great masters I admire most. “ He said during an interview.

The following photographs show American Children on their holidays between 1986 and 1997 at camps in North Carolina, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Georgia.

I like that time of age, too. There’s a kind of grave maturity developing at around 11 years old. When a little kid laughs or cries, it doesn’t have real resonance, whereas if someone has these emotions between eight and 12, there’s a poignancy to it.
