Hillary Diane was born in 1947 at Edgewater Medical Center in Chicago. Raised in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, she graduated from Wellesley College in 1969. Hillary was the eldest child of Hugh and Dorothy Rodham. Clinton was the first student to give a commencement address at Wellesley College; her speech, delivered upon her class’s graduation in 1969, was reprinted in Life magazine. She started her political career with the Republican Party because of her parents. She also campaigned for Republican presidential candidate Barry Goldwater in 1964 and chaired the local chapter of the Young Republicans. Her political views began to change after several circumstances, such as the assassinations of Malcolm X, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Hillary met Bill at Yale. However, Bill returned to his native Arkansas, and she worked with Edelman in Massachusetts. After Nixon’s resignation, she started teaching at the University of Arkansas, School of Law. She married Bill Clinton on October 11, 1975. She played an important role in her husband’s presidential campaign by giving speeches and greeting voters. Their wedding ceremony was simple, and it took place at their home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We here at Bygonely have compiled a list of photographs that show Hillary Clinton’s life starting from her childhood to just before her journey to the White House.
