Madeline Smith is a former model and actress. Before entering into the modeling and acting world, she worked as a salesgirl in a fashion store. And from there, Madeline chose modeling as her career, and later she became an actress. In 1973, she played the role of Miss Caruso, a Bond girl in “Live and Let Die” in 1973, and ironically, she was paid only a hundred British Pounds for her role opposite to the Roge Moore at that time. Madeline Smith also starred in many famous Television shows including, Doctor at Large, The Two Ronnies, Clochemerle, and many others. Madeline took a long, 20 years break from TV and movies and returned in 2011, appeared as a contestant on the red team in the BBC antiques game show Bargain Hunt. In the late 1960s and early ’70s, she was regularly featured in the work of Disc cartoonist J Edward Oliver, who, on one occasion, devoted an entire strip to her entitled ‘The Life and Habits of the Madeline Smith.’

Madeline married actor David Buck and remained married until his death from cancer in 1989. Now she lives in West London with her daughter, Emily.
