Sybil Danning is a tall, buxom blonde actress, model, and film producer. She is best known for her frequent appearances in B movies during the 1970s and 1980s and remembered as queen of B-movies. Danning made her screen debut as Lorelei in Komm nur, mein liebstes Vögelein (1968). In 1978, she moved to Hollywood and got her first role in Roger Corman’s space opera cult classic, Battle Beyond the Stars (1980), which helped to establish her as a B-movie actress. Besides the acting, Danning has also worked on several movies as a producer and wrote the story for “L.A. Bounty.” She was awarded the Golden Scroll Award for her role as the Valkyrie warrior Saint-Exmin in the space opera Battle Beyond the Stars (1980).
Danning founded a production company, “Adventuress Productions,” in 1989 with S.C. Dacy and Robert P. Palazzo. In 1990, her acting career was disrupted when she suffered a spinal disc herniation while rehearsing a film stunt. After a long break for acting, Sybil Danning came back in 2007.
