Martha Stewart is a former model, and now she is a lifestyle guru, businesswoman, author, and television personality. Since her childhood, she had a business mind. She organized birthday parties for neighbor children while she was in school. Martha entered in the fashion modeling world to pay her college tuition. She also appeared in television commercials and magazines. Martha was one of the first female stockbrokers on wall street. She got her license on 14 August 1968. In the late 1970s, Martha Stewart started a catering business named Martha Stewart, Inc, and within a decade, she was serving many corporate and celebrity clients. The catering business turned into Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc in 1991.
Martha was convicted of four felony charges, including conspiracy to obstruct justice, making false statements, and commit perjury as a result of investigation int her sale of ImClone stock. She was sentenced to five months in prison and fined $30,000 that July. During her modeling career, Martha met Andrew Stewart, and they married in 1961. The couple divorced in 1990 after a three-year separation. Martha also dated Anthony Hopkins but ended after watching The Silence of the Lambs.
