Lo Manh Hung: The Youngest Photo Journalist Of The Vietnam War, 1968

During the bloodiest Vietnam War, several journalists visited combat zones and document the horrible conditions of war. Among them there was a 12-year-old Vietnamese boy, Lo Manh Hung, helping his father, Lo Vinh, a veteran freelance photographer, to document the violet events and living conditions of Vietnamese people. He was the youngest photo journalist in history to document war after Janna Jihad Ayyad. Lo Manh Hung also helped with film processing and printing and sold fresh prints to local newspapers and international news agencies.

His age and size were both hindrance and help in his profession. He sneaked through the crowds and barriers to capture the best shot. Most of the people never believed that he was actually covering the news.
