New York City has one of the oldest dinings, and it is home to some of the oldest and historic restaurants in the world. Delmonico’s was founded in 1827, and Katz’s Delicatessen is serving food since 1888, and there are other classic and century-old restaurants. They range from legendary steakhouses to gritty taverns and coal-fired pizzerias. We here at Bygonely have collected some photos that show the restaurants of New York City in the 1950s and 1960s.
