50+ Stunning Color Photos Of Southern Germany In 1960s

Southern Germany is a region that includes the two most populous states of Germany, Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. Although this region of Germany has no boundaries but is generally taken to include the areas in which Upper German dialects are spoken. Southern Germany has plenty of tourist destinations, including beautiful medieval German towns, ski resorts, castles, and a lot of history and culture. Here below is a collection of amazing color photographs taken by U.S. Army Soldier Roger W from 1960.

#2 Karlsruhe. Schloss (Not yet rebuilt). The two wings of the palace in Karlsruhe had not yet been rebuilt after damage in World War II
