1980s Men’s Hairstyles: These Stunning Hairstyles Were Popular In The 80s

The 1980s men’s hairstyles were mostly big with new styles that were not introduced before. The hairstyles were inspired by music artists and actors. Every class had different styles; the Businessmen hairstyles were worn by politicians and businessmen. Totally shaved heads gained popularity among men. Other styles, including mullet, Curls, flattops, wavy, and quiff, were also popular styles.

High top fade hairstyles were popular among black hip-hop artists. There are also the Jheri Curl hairstyles, which were also worn by the African-American men in the 80s era, and they mostly had the glossy, loosely curled style. Michael Jackson wore the same hairstyle on the cover of his blockbuster album Thriller; the album was released in 1982. Spiky hairstyles were also introduced in the 80s. In such hairstyles, the men’s head was shaved on the sides but kept the long, spiked strip of hair down the center. The spiky hairstyles were short and long, and they are still popular. Some of those hairstyles have been updated, while others remained the same.

We here at Bygonely have put together some famous men’s hairstyles of the 80s. Vote your favorites, and don’t forget to share.
