Dallas is the 9th largest city of the US with a population of over 1.34 million. Dallas is the city of art and literature with the largest art district and Dallas Public Library system. Dallas is also famous for its cultural activities, including opera, ballet, musicals, and symphony concerts.
The 80s was the era of country and disco music, live music festivals were more popular (especially Texxas Jam), cowboy fashion was all the rage and traffic were already starting to pile up. To be fair, while Austin often gets a reputation for being weird, let’s not forget that Dallas can also be pretty strange.
